I have extensive skills and knowledge on the principals, patterns, processes and practices required in operating a business in the digital space. I’m looking to partner with a business that wants to do digital well, without dedicated in-house specialists.
I have been Building, Maintaining and Evolving successful commercial websites and applications, as a full-time profession for 20 years: I am not a graphic designer, nor a programmer that builds websites as a side offering. My qualifications include a Masters in Communication Design and Post Graduate qualifications in Digital Media.My initial specialist background was web development, during my career I have gained experience across all of the digital specalisations:

- Usability (engineering & accessibility);

- Graphic/Visual Designer;
- Search Engine Optimisation (SEO);
- Digital Content Producer/Manager.
For the past 14 years my main focus has been Digital Content and Service Management; employed for large, locally based organisations i.e. Suncorp, RACQ, CUA and UnitingCare Health. I am happy briefing and managing digital specialist teams, but at my happiest when working “hands-on”.
I focus on 3 key facets requiring digital investment by businesses. One is highly obvious to all, another is quite an obvious consideration for your technology provider, however the third is quite nebular and often overlooked, but it’s fundamental to “getting it right online”. My expertise is across all 3 of these key facets, only focusing on the two apparent facets doesn’t deliver the outcomes businesses originally aimed for.
My process for building websites and applications (developed throughout my career) is particularly efficient, cost effective and robust. I proudly stand behind my process, and as of 2014 I started offering it to small-medium enterprises as well supplying large organisations.
